This study aims to describe the implementation of character education based on the values of honesty, responsibility, and social concern as an effort to prevent corruption from an early age at SMPN 1 Kejayan. The method used was descriptive qualitative research, with 32 eighth-grade A students as the subjects. Data collection was conducted through observation, documentation, and student reflections, which were then qualitatively analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate an increase in students’ understanding of the values of honesty, responsibility, and social concern, as well as positive attitudinal changes such as discipline, responsibility, and empathy. A humanistic and participatory approach— utilizing discussions, simulations, and reflection—proved effective in helping students internalize character values. The study’s conclusions indicate that anti-corruption-based character education can foster students’ moral awareness and reinforce behavior characterized by integrity. Therefore, the sustained integration of character education is necessary to cultivate a generation that is both principled and free from corruption.
