About the Journal
The Minister of Health Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia (Permenkes RI) Number 21 of 2020 mandates efforts to reform health governance, including the integration of information systems, research, and health development. Indonesian Health Transformation is an effort by the Ministry of Health to implement health transformation activities across 6 pillars: primary service transformation, referral services, health resilience systems, health financing systems, health human resources, and health technology. The six pillars of health transformation,, which form the basis of the Indonesian health system, should be built collectively and continuously, as specified in the 1945 Constitution: "Everyone has the right to obtain health services and the state is responsible for providing adequate health service facilities." Upholding the six pillars of health transformation, with close collaboration and strong synergy among the central government, local governments, and all segments of society, is the way to achieve better change. No less vital is the reform of the work culture of health workers, without which the health transformation will not be realized.” Health transformation is a crucial milestone in Indonesia’s journey to become an advanced nation. Health transformation must reach all parts of Indonesia, especially distant, undeveloped, border, and island areas. As part of its efforts to contribute to Indonesia's health transformation, Dr. Soekardjo University organizes an international health conference that provides a platform for students' and researchers' ideas and health-sector research findings. These insights and findings are compiled in the Dr. Soekardjo University International Health Conference Proceedings.
